The substate region referred to as Region 1 is made up of county/counties Cherokee, Colbert, Cullman, Dekalb, Etowah, Fayette, Franklin, Jackson, Lamar, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marion, Marshall, Morgan, Walker, Winston.

The substate region referred to as Region 2 is made up of county/counties Bibb, Blount, Calhoun, Chilton, Clay, Cleburne, Coosa, Jefferson, Pickens, Randolph, Shelby, St. Clair, Talladega, Tuscaloosa.

The substate region referred to as Region 3 is made up of county/counties Autauga, Bullock, Chambers, Choctaw, Dallas, Elmore, Greene, Hale, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Marengo, Montgomery, Perry, Pike, Russell, Sumter, Tallapoosa, Wilcox.

The substate region referred to as Region 4 is made up of county/counties Baldwin, Barbour, Butler, Clarke, Coffee, Conecuh, Covington, Crenshaw, Dale, Escambia, Geneva, Henry, Houston, Mobile, Monroe, Washington.
