Figure 3.5 is a bar chart comparing the percentages of mental health treatment types received by full-time employees with those received by adults not in the labor force. The chart shows that among full-time employees, 63.0 percent received outpatient only treatment, 48.7 percent received outpatient and medication only treatment, 47.4 percent received medication only, and 23.8 percent received inpatient treatment. Among adults who were not in the labor force, 59.2 percent received inpatient treatment, 38.7 percent received medication only, 33.8 percent received outpatient and medication treatment, and 16.7 percent received outpatient only treatment in the past year.
