Figure 2.3 is a bar chart indicating the percentages of adults by race/ethnicity category who received mental health treatment in the past year. The chart shows that 12 percent of whites, 6.8 percent of blacks, 15.1 percent of American Indian or Alaska Natives, 4.4 percent of Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islanders, 3.1 percent of Asians, 15.5 percent of those reporting more than one race, and 6.5 percent of Hispanics received mental health treatment in the past year.
