It is a bar graph, with the horizontal axis representing the four facility types of care and the vertical axis representing the mean LOS in days. Among adult female clients discharged from substance abuse treatment facilities, those discharged from nonhospital residential facilities averaged 34.0 days, those discharged from outpatient methadone facilities averaged 531.4 days, those discharged from outpatient nonmethadone facilities averaged 153.8 days, and those discharged from facilities providing a combination of types of care averaged 146.7 days.
