by 37 percent between 1994 and 1999.
Nearly
19 percent of Asian and Pacific Islander substance abuse treatment
admissions were for stimulant abuse compared with 5 percent in the
total treatment population.
In
1999, the average age at admission was younger among Asian and Pacific
Islander admissions (age 30) than in the total treatment population
(age 33).
