Figure C.2 is a line graph showing the percentages of youths aged 12 to 17 reporting strong disapproval of same-aged youths using marijuana, cigarettes, and alcohol, by the age of the respondent. The graph indicates that, for all three substances, the percentage of youths who strongly disapproved of other youths using these substances was markedly lower for older youths than for younger youths. This trend was stronger for youth marijuana use than for youth cigarette or alcohol use.
